Our first experience at this gem! Wonderful ambience, service & food. A must go! We LOVED EVERYTHING!
My favorite steakhouse in Arizona! Filet is seasoned to perfection. Josh always takes great care of us to make sure everything is the way we like. We love the atmosphere in the bar.
Amazing experience at Arrowhead Grill! It is always consistently top notch food, wine, and service! Steaks were cooked to perfection, as always! I was able to go with my friend last night that was a first timer and she was over the top impressed and vowed to be back! AG, thanks for making our evening wonderful! Can't wait to see you again!
This has been our go to place for special occasions for years. The best thing about our most recent experience was the service. Our server was very knowledgeable and had the right balance of attentiveness and respect. We had the shrimp cocktail appetizer and I had the French onion soup and he had the clam chowder. The three large shrimp were enough for us to share. They seemed a tad overcooked, but still tasty with great presentation. The clam chowder is something we would both order again. The onion soup was more bread and cheese than onion soup. The cocktails were delicious. I had a glass of Pinot noir that was good once I warmed up the cold glass with my hands. Perhaps this was their version of "cellar cold." We each had the Delmonico steaks and I believe they made my partner's medium rare and mine medium. Previous visits my steaks were always very tender. When the manager stopped by, he could tell by my non poker face that I was unhappy. After a brief chat, a new, tender, perfectly medium rare steak was served. Thank you, Arrowhead Grille for continuing to be the best steak house in the west valley and I will continue to recommend you any time someone asks where to go.
What an AMAZING dinner! The service from Charles was impeccable, his manager Dale was courteous and attentive and all of the support staff from the kitchen was second to none! The drinks were delicious and the main course was mouth watering and flavorful' Coming into two from California, Arrowhead Grill was recommended to us from friends and it was definitely a special treat! Can't wait for the next trip to visit again! Thank you Arrowhead Grill for a dining experience to remember!
Everything deserves 5 stars; ambiance, service, food and drinks. Came here on Monday after Fourth of July weekend. It wasn't busy at all. Reservations are strongly recommended. The hosts and servers were very sweet. Especially to my toddler. Drinks and food were ordered in a timely manner. I appreciate the server asking if we wanted to order my toddler's food earlier. And I also appreciate that her food didn't come out piping hot. She was able to eat right away. Oh and they have a kids menu which is a huge plus. Started off strong with bread and butter. I think the bread could've been more moist, but according to my sister in law, the bread has changed throughout time and so has the menu. Pear martinis were amazing!!! I would totally order that again. For the main course; I got the 8 oz New York strip, medium rare. Omg the steak was like butter. It was so flavorful on its own and cooked perfectly. My favorite side was the artisan mac and cheese. It's probably the best mac and cheese I've ever had. I also enjoyed the cream of spinach. We did not have room for dessert. I'd definitely come here again. Shout out to the staff for checking on us multiple times. They have a great team here and it shows. As a steak fanatic, I was truly impressed.
Made a reservation a month in advance for a birthday. We split the 10oz Delmonico steak and Lousiana style shrimp with garlic added. This was okay, a bit tough. Sides were very delicious! We had the Au Gratin Potatoes, Creme Brulee Corn, and Green Chile Mac n Cheese. The Butter Cake was also great. Nice and friendly service from Ronnie.
Soooo good!!! Food was great and service was excellent! Great way to spend an anniversary!
If ever you need respite, particularly (or not) in the form of desert first, or only, count yourself blessed if AG is close enough to sneak into. It is unassuming glamour and undeniable class. If you are smart, you will go several times during bi-annual restaurant week. Because there are MANY culinary delights on the menu, and you do yourself a disservice if you fall in love too quick with the first fabulous thing you order. (I spoke to a gentleman the other night who can't bring himself to explore beyond the signature Delmonico steak. I was elsewhere and at the mention of AG his eyes lit up. Anyone who has been that I've spoken to gets a similar dreamy expression when remembering their dining experience(s).) AG has a lot of aspects that can not be replicated elsewhere. Small enough to offer careful quality, fantastic selection of well prepared steak, seafood, proteins. Lamb here will spoil you for everywhere else. But savory sides easily take center stage. Until you experience the comforting bliss of green chili mac and cheese, honestly, you are deprived. Prove me wrong. I had the mashed potatoes for the first time the other night. Just ridiculously good. No problem in life less daunting after their undeniable comfort! Not to be ignored is the generous portion of salmon if you can discipline yourself away from the fantastic red meat/ steak offerings. It is prepared in a baseline lemon dill sauce and the Parmesan and blackened options are quite lovely. I opted for both and was quite glad I did. Remarkably the steak salad comes in at the same price point (or less) as the range of average dinner plates I had to get at chain restaurants for the 18 months I was sans kitchen while mine was being repaired. And even partaking of the more decadent options during restaurant week, I've lost weight. Because this is literally healthy food. Quality you will be hard pressed if not completely unable to find, even at double the price, within at least a 30 mile radius. I grew up in Dallas and honestly trying to find a restaurant experience worth my time and money in the area has been borderline torturous. Covid didn't help, but I daresay AG is one of only 4 local restaurants that maintained fantastic quality regardless. I write stuff on Yelp and other platforms that I would want to know. And there's a LOT more I could write about AG as I have had the blessing of retreating there a good bit as of late when in dire need of a recharge, sustenance, and a reminder that there are still places and people of quality and standards in this world. It's just basically a fantastic place, with an exceptional menu, great staff, and an experience not to be missed.
First time at Arrowhead Grill. Attended a Saturday gathering hosted by friends. We were escorted to a separate room with several other larger groups. Robert was our personable and very competent waiter. Appetizer was a couple of cheese and cracker trays with fig jam and candied walnuts. Lots of steak and seafood options with larger sharable sides and salads. Ordered a medium Delmonico Steak with a loaded baked potato. The sides are a separate charge. I have not had a Delmonico in many years. The well seasoned steak and side were outstanding. People in the group were very happy with their choices including Rib Eye and New York Strip Steaks. One person would have selected Swordfish instead of the milder Grouper, however it's all about personal taste. Cocktails and desserts were plentiful and well received. Great dining experience for special occasions. Like many other Yelp restaurant listings, current prices are on restaurant web page.
